I agree totally, it has been terrorizing for a long time, people are killed in Gaza every single day, parts of Lebanon has been occupied since a long time, way before this war, they have Lebanese and they still try to convince people that they are defending Israel, who is the occupier? parts of Lebanon, Syria, the west bank, and Gaza all occupied by Israel, who is the terrorist?

The rules of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS when it comes to the Israeli-Arab conflict.

Rule # 1: In the Middle East, it is always the Arabs that attack first, and it's always Israel who defends itself. This is called "Retaliation".

Rule # 2: The Arabs, whether Palestinians or Lebanese, are not allowed to kill Israelis. This is called "Terrorism"

Rule # 3: Israel has the right to kill Arab civilians; this is called Self-Defense", or these days "Collateral Damage".

Rule # 4: When Israel kills too many civilians. The Western world calls for restraint. This is called the "Reaction of the International Community".

Rule # 5: Palestinians and Lebanese do not have the right to capture Israeli military, not even a limited number, not even 1 or 2. This is called "Kidnapping".

Rule # 6: Israel has the right to capture as many Palestinians as they want (Palestinians: around 10000 to date, 300 of which are children, Lebanese:1000s to date, being held without trial). There is no limit; there is no need for proof of guilt or trial. This is called "War on Terrorism".

Rule # 7: When you say "Hezbollah", always be sure to add "supported by Syria and Iran". this is called: "Axis of Evil"

Rule # 8: When you say "Israel", never say "supported by the USA, the UK and other European countries", for people (God forbid) might believe this is not an equal conflict. This is called "Helping our Friends".

Rule # 9: When it comes to Israel, don't mention the words "occupied territories", "UN resolutions", "Geneva conventions". This could distress the audience and is called "Anti-Semitism".

Rule # 10: Israelis speak better English than Arabs. This is why we let them speak out as much as possible, so that they can explain rules 1 through 9. This is called "Neutral Journalism".

Rule # 11: If you don't agree with these rules or if you favor the Arab side over the Israeli side, you must be a very dangerous anti-Semite.
Please learn the proper terminology and use it appropriately to maintain your job; this is called "Equal Opportunity Employment"

the innocents were told to leave, given time to leave, and they didn't leave...so you have to ask yourself "why didn't they leave". Well if they were poor then the Hezbollah are trying to keep the Lebanese on their side by giving them money, gifts, food and first aid. So the Lebanese stay because they like the Hezbollah. What you didn't realize is that Hezbollah has the "photoshop" program and puts out propaganda too. But they are using the Lebanese as human shields. Israel knows where the Hezbollah are and only searches them out. They are not after the innocent civilians. What aid workers...do you mean the Hezbollah?....It's easy to support Israel when God gave them that land and they intend to stay and live on it. Since Hezbollah started this mess, how can you stand up for them?

This conflict illustrates how very complex the problems are in the region. Hezbollah's goal, of driving Israel out of Southern Lebanon, came into existence during the previous occupation of Lebanon over twenty years ago. While the world, including the US, looked the other way at the poverty in Southern Lebanon, Hezbollah stepped in as the major charity organization, operating hospitals, feeding the hungry and earning loyalty.

We wouldn't like it if Canada occupied our northern states. We would object if a world body found that the children of Japanese Americans who were in internment camps (with their possessions confiscated) were due recompense therefore were entitled to the state of Vermont as their sovereign nation. Or perhaps a better parallel, the grandchildren of former slaves who returned to Liberia were entitled to South Carolina.

As in so many disputes, there is gray. Israel may have the right to protect her borders but the force has been excessive and they may have lost in the court of public opinion.

Are you supporting Hezbollah killing innocent civilians in Israel out of the blue? Or do you think that 1000's of rockets shot into Israel should be shrugged off? Is it OK for Jews to live for a month in bomb shelters? This situation is a little more complicated.

israel did not start this outlaws without concern for human rights or freedoms began this and this is in the Scriptures. You better be on the side of the Jews since they are the chosen ones. They have the right to fight back against terriorists. In war there is no innocents. War is war.

you know what? everyone should realize this! israel is said to hunt down hezbollah the terrorist. israels thinks hezbollah is an idiotic terrorist who kills people as he pleases but its been a month and the so called'genius' isreals havent even caught him yet with their super guns, technology,FINANCIAL SUPPORT and killing machines. .while lebanon and hezbollah just rely on guns and hopes to be set free.

all the israels has done is bomb down innocent labanon houses and killing innocent lives as they please coz they think that it has connection with hezbollah (duh!so dumb), because of this, the israels are worst than hezbollah coz they claim to give peace to lebanon by catching hezbollah, but then they are just doing what hezbollah is doing and even worst coz they have US supporting them to kill as they please.

ive been thinkin the reason for a long time now and y israel who brouhgt sufferin to palestians would go for labanon.its all politic and oil. i think that those who closes their eyes to the israels terrorist actions are WRONG! they belive what the media says, their dumb coz they just sit there and support war! look for the truth people! use your brains and see whats happenin in the real world!

no, Hezzbola is terrorizing. (They're terrorists, remember?)

It's war. Unfortunately, innocent people die in wars. Maybe you could explain why Hezzbola is using innocents as human shields?
