Not without a court modification. You need to see the judge.

Not unless you go back to court, and that can cost you just as much as paying the child support. We couldn't get our payment lower, instead the payment went up and we're still paying out our a** for a grown woman with a baby. Good luck.

You need to reapply to the courts and show finacial hard ship, but they will also consider your situtaion with your ex-spouse. Make sure you have all your ducks in a row before you do that or like Good2 go says.. you might end up paying more.

sometimes it really annoys me how much the courts order tha father to pay in child support. they should live just as good as they were living. it should be enough for them to live comfortably.

i'm sure the courts are the only one that can order the payments lower.

Without a court order NO. Sadly his duty is to his children, not yours. Why does'nt your childrens' father pay support? That's who is getting off lightly

Well, he has to support his own kids! If they are garnishing his wages, that means HE DIDN'T PAY IN THE FIRST PLACE! He needs to suck it up and realize that he has his own kids. You all knew this when you got married didn't you?
