What you may have to do is configure the jet direct with an IP address within your network. Usually the JD server comes with it's own settings. Did you install the software that comes with it so you can configure it, and did the software find it?

If not, try connecting to a hub rather than to a router, configure the JD server to work on your network with the router, and then connect to the router.

Good Luck

Most hardware problems are caused by a missing driver. Run the CD or search for it on the net. Try the HP website.

What kind of operating system do you have on your computer? Is it Windows XP, Windows 2000, etc? You need to go to www.hp.com and download the driver for the printer that is compatible with your operating system.
