ok my husband and I have been trying to conceive. I am a week late and took the test tonight. Well i tickled on the stick for 10 sec but there was a little that got on the testing part. about 20 sec in it read pos. it was a walmart brand test + and- signs Is this accurate?

Yes, I would say that means you're pregnant...but, what worked for me was holding the test stick upside down with the window facing down while urinating...that should prevent the urine from splashing into the test window. If you're confused as to the outcome I would highly recommend the digital pregnancy test. I think EPT makes one...they may even have a store brand one now. They run about 15.00 for 2 Good luck!

false positives are rare - I don't think getting urine on the test part will mess up the results (I've done it before and I'm sure others have) and I don't see how it could. A positive result means that the pg. hormone was detected, so unless you're on certain fertility drugs or had a hCG trigger shot to release an egg, it sounds like you're pregnant! Congratulations!

Tests do not give false positives, only false negatives.
If you are late and the test came out positive then most likely you are. But if you do not trust that test then wait 1 day or 2 and take another.
The last I knew you were suppose to only pee on them for 5 seconds.

The tests are pretty accurate. Won't matter too much if you tickled on the plastic part, as long as you tickled on the actual stick!!

Ask my 8 month old daughter-it worked for her. You should not get a positive unless your body is producing HCG, the pregnancy hormone. Good luck!

Probably so, the results are not often false positives so you probably are pregnant. Go see your doctor to make sure.

i wouldn't trust that one if you urinated on the testing part. buy another and this time, urinate into a cup and dip the test into it.
