I think it's great as the Saints fanbase is spread across the entire Gulf Coast and not just Louisianna. I am in Biloxi, Mississippi and try having to fight your local stations to play Saints games versus Falcons games. Thankfully there is DirectTV and the NFL network.

Secondly, having their practices facility at Milsaps College takes the players out of the city and puts their focus on the game and not the endless distractions that the Crescent City has.

Actually a few NFL teams have camp in other states than the one they play in.
The Cowboys camp is in Oxnard CA for instance.
Not that big of an issue if they are going to eventually play their games in the Big Easy.
I think that the NFL is committed to keeping them there also. I sure hope so.

Plenty of teams do it. Both the Chiefs and Bears practice in Wisconsin. No biggie.

St-Orleans is still rebuilding...It's unfortunate fot Orleans fans to be not able to see their home players practice or play.
