I come from a family that is full of geniuses and artist and I told my son (from my own experiances) that all geniuses are crazy and all artist are freaks, so if you happen across an artist genius, then you have met a crazy freak.

I know several people in my family who would be considered insane namely with schizophrenia and they have no creative ability whatsoever. However, I also know several bipolars and they are extremely creative, but they could not truly be considered insane. So I think it all depends on the person.

I think the difference is the ability to not let it spill over into your reality where it impedes basic successful living. Not success as in money but success as in you live your life and go through. Not calling attention to yourself.

It seems the level of bad lowers with each new antidepressant.
