As a southern woman, what do you think of men from the north?

And if you have a negative opinion of northerners in general, why is that?

I'm a Southern girl and I got myself a yankee boy. I live in New England now and I have to say, Northerners are quite the rude lot. It's just sociological. They're bred that way. After a while you learn to not take everything so personally. Southerners have the pre-conceived notion that all Northerners are rude and arrogant and Northerners all think that Southerners are slow-witted and web-toed. It's the little things that make life so damn interesting. :-)

I like southern men better for no real reason except I grew up being taught a certain set of manners. I want my huspand to have those manners, they are something I find very romantic and proof that he will be a true gentleman. I have nothing against the north except people from big cities (not just the northern ones) don't seem to follow these standards and their manners are creeping in down here so that finding a good man is getting harder.

I am not for sure, I have not met a northerner. And as I write this I find that to be a sad thing.

yankess are all jerks. they think they know it all and have no manners. most southern men are born with natual manners. hold a door open for a lady, call her ma'm.
