I just bought these jeans, and the size sticker is coming off in tiny pieces and leaving those thin strips of adhesive. I don't want to ruin the jeans. Why do they put effing paper stickers on new clothes? Couldn't they use plastic?

Before you try the Goo-Gone, try using a piece of heavy duty tape like duct tape. Press down over the paper sticker and pull it back off quickly. It should pull all the residue off the jeans. Goo -Gone is good but it can leave a stain on some fabrics. I was in a car accident and the paramedics used a very sticky tape to literally tape me to the backboard. I was in a brand new outfit and it had a lot of sticky residue on it. The duct tape worked in this case.

Orange oil is great for sticker goo. One brand is Goo-Gone -- zips off the goo (even chewing gum) like magic.
