I went into an used book store looking for a particular book because I thought it was deep and spiritual-self-help. When I asked for the book the shop keeper replied "Some people see this book as spiritual, I think it's a bunch of crap. It's a stupid book about birds. Why do you want it?" I replied "To help me understand my inner self." He shook his head and sold it to me for $1.00. The book is Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach, 1973. Those who 'get it' know it's not about birds. It's an easy read, 45 minutes.

More practical than inspiritational, I liked "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kyosaki. It's in a narrative form, very easy to read and follow, and just gave me a different perspective on how to approach financial success.

For something more spiritual, I would suggst "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl. This is a book about a man in a concentration camp during the Holocaust. You dont have to be Jewish to be inspired by this book. I'm not Jewish and I think it's a definite must read.

I also like psychology papers...Many of them are informative...Especially the ones on achieving exzpertise or the ones on happiness...It's nice to attach actual evidence to what you're reading sometimes.

Well, I suppose you have to know this would be answered this way. I truly believe it. Now, More than ever... The BEST anthology for success is "the hand book for life" most commonly known as the Holy Bible.

I don't mean this to be trite. It can sound like a band aide answer, but I have experienced many successes because of this anthology and it is more than a 'self help' book. It is life transforming.

Nothing magical about it, but read with care. :o)
