I have fair skin and freckles, light brows and lashes, and I don't want to spend too much time piling on the makeup. What are 2-3 products I can use just to give my face some color and even out my skin tone?

Use a light powder (Cover girl fair light pressed powder)

Use a light brown eye liner under you lower lashes (Cover girl glide pencil in medium brown)

And use a natural shade lip stick (Cover girl neutral peach mauve)

The powder will not make you face break out, soem foundations can.

have you checked out the mary kay website? Go to the website below for some tips. I use the timewise cleanser and moisturizer then I use the cream to powder foundation or timewise medium coverage foundation. I have a very light skin tone.

You need to go to a department store that carries Clinque. They will help you find what will work for you all nonallergenic and it won't cost you anything. Let them help you find what works, if you don't like it tell them that's not the look you want. Then when you find one it will cost about $15. My daughter has freckles too and I got her their concealor stick she lightly put the one for her face color dotted over the freckles and they are gone. Try them out if you don't like it you don't have to buy anything from them. You might want to go to a mall, and try a different one in a different store if you feel uncomfortable. I started my girls with Clinque, it's what my mother did for me. Plus they have ones for oily skin. Hope this helps.

I have the same skin as you it sounds like and i use a cream every morning the moisturizes my face and has SPF , yet it doesn't smell like sunscreen, I'm not sure what its called, because i bought it from Avon, also mascara , eyeliner, lip gloss, and a pale pink blush, you can find all of it cheap at a drug store, or target.

since your skin tone is light, you may just want to try a powder foundation or tinted moisturizer, a neutral but shimmery eye shadow, little blush, lip gloss and a brown-black mascara
