This depends on what you want to test.
Some folks think it has to do with Russian ballet.
Others think it has to do with knowing how to rebuild the top end of your Harley.
The best predictor of future performance is past performance.
IQ tests do not predict how successful a person will be in a given field. On the other hand, you might predict that a person scoring a 45 on the Verbal sub-test has a low probability of becoming a nuclear physicist. A tele evangelist maybe, but not a scientist.
Tom Peters studied successful folks and concluded it was not IQ points that made people stars but raw persistence, maniacs with a mission.
Good luck with intelligence theories.

You have developed and presented an interesting question...caught my eye so I know I should give my view on the subject. I certainly wouldn't say that "computers" would be a valid theory of intelligence except to the admission that the minds of man have both researched, developed, constituted and applied their intellegence by the medium of silicone and electrical applications. Without becoming "religious", I would yet have to apply the answer that God, the "Source" of "All Things" is the ultimate theory of Intelligence...but the word "theory" hardly applies here. God is presented in the Bible as being "Omniscient", which is to say that both HIs Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge are completely "unlimited" and therefore, as Eternal as God is Himself. All "intelligence" originates in Him because through and by Him "all things were and are Created". The verse says that, "For by Him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in Earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: All things were created by Him, and for Him (Colossians 1:16b)."
