I have had a skin problem on my right leg since I was 14. I went to a doctor and he treated it as if it was eczema. It wasn't. I have endured shots, and scrapings and surgeries and biopsies that never revealed what it was except that I had it when I was born but it didn't show up till I was 14. I have scoured the photos in the University of Iowa dermatology website and have never come across pictures of anything like it from other people, It is itchy, deeply itchy, and I think it occurs from the inside out. Creams, salves, lotions, don't work. Dermabrasion didn't work. Dry ice didn't work. An electric needle didn't work. Only surgery worked. But that was with areas that were long and narrow. I have an area on my calf that is perfectly round.and about two inches across. If they did the same kind of surgery, where they cut it out and sewed the skin back together, it wouldn't work. It's too big and round. It would stretch the skin too much. I'd love to go on a talk show, like one that Oprah did, about skin conditions, and then she sent people to a clinic in South Africa. I need some relief. The itching is just too deep.

I have been having chest pain and shortness of breath for 2yrs now. I have had every test in the world, including an angiogram.....they just tell me I have small arteries. I wish I could find a dr House. I have given up....pain and shortness of breath still there though.
It is very frustrating. Then to top that off, the give you "happy pills", and ask you if you would think about getting "someone to talk to". All Dr's are "full of it"....
I hope you don't have to go thru that.
Good luck.

Yes, and I even had several MRI's . I had tingling and numbness . I had oxygen count to see if I was hyperventalating and the MRI's (2) head and another full body . No answer! So their diagnosis was simply panic attack even thogh I had experience it while in their office and thats when they had done the oxygen tests along with doing my vitals. My B/P was higher than normal and now looking back I think I was having a slight heart attack or tia's which is a signal of a stroke. Because a year or so later I ended up with regular high blood pressures and high cholesterol. I think that there are alot of incompitant doctors out there.................

Yeah, I have an issue with stiff movements in my joints and the very educated doctors are clueless to the cause. It's like your bank not being able to tell you your account balance.
