Maybe, but I personally don't.
But I do believe that when something does happen, even for the worst, something good always prevails from it too :)

If you mean, are there accidents?, the answer is no. The consequences may not have been the intended ones but the causes of the accidents are sometimes clear and obvious and sometimes hidden, but they are there. This is not in line with common sense. For example, a person crosses the street and is kilIed by an inattentive driver. Did the "victim" choose to die at that time? There was a reason for that event to happen the way it did but earth-bound logic usually cannot explain it. You might have heard the expression, "...a accident waiting to happen." Some events seem inevitable because we can follow the logical progression and see the consequences in advance. Yet sometimes inevitable events do not happen, and this is what tells us that we cannot dismiss the unseen reasons.

On a positive note, what seems like a tragedy in life sometimes opens a door to what eventually becomes a satisfying "victory". What made the difference? A change in attitude and motivation(i.e. a new set of choices in action).

By the way, there are no victims. This is especially hard to swallow, I know, but from the spiritual plane it is easier to see. People make choices(create energy patterns) which interact with other people's choices(energy patterns), resulting in a myriad of possibilities but how we accept life as it occurs is what creates opportunities or "victimhood". The choice is yours.

In 1960, Nixon was defrauded of the Presidency. In 2000 the same happened to Gore and again in 2004 to Kerry. These were of course deliberate manipulations that changed the course of history. Did they happen for a reason? Oh yes. Soon we will realize that it was inevitable that these events and the earth-shaking ones which will follow were part of a larger(unseen) process that will need to play itself out before we as a (human) race can move on to full consciousness.

It's not a matter of ego. If anything, ego would not accept such a possibility. It would feel threaten by such an idea, feeling it wasn't in control. When ego surrenders to such a possibility, it finds some peace of mind in this life's experience and it all begins to make sense. Things do link together. Meeting various people...going to certain places....almost as if it were pre-written script, unaware to us in the early days of our experience here. Yet I do understand how one's ego could get inflated in such a study. I have done so and passed this danger. I simply now share what I have learned after 60 years in this experience in writings and CD's.

i do think everything happens for reasons. everything that happens leads you to react a certain way and it's usually in a way that helps you become strong which ends up benefitting u in the future. if u've seen the movie "SIGNS" by m.night shamaylan, you'll understand what i mean. if u haven't, u should rent it and you'll know exactly why everything happens for a reason.

For every action..., there is an equal reaction...

There are reasons for everything whether spiritual or physical...

Spiritually..., yes..., everything happens for the reason..., the only real problem we are people only see what we want to see...

Yes, to me everything does happen for a reason.

You have to look at it from a spiritual point of view.

There is no way to answer this question.

Anyone who claims to know the answer suffers from a vastly over-inflated ego.

None of us is that important.
