The Earth has had ice ages, they were cooling periods, between them were warming periods. This has been going on for all of Earth’s 4 billion years. This all happened before any of the modern day came into being and will continue after we are gone.

The Earth is going through a pole shift right now. A pole shift is when the magnetic poles swap polarities. During pole shifts the magnetosphere is weaker and more of the Sun’s rays strike the Earth, this causes extra heating of the Earths surface, and makes global warming more pronounced.

These are natural cycles of the Earth. We puny stupid humans can no more stop or even reduce a natural cycle of the Earth, than the man in the moon. This is 9th grade science, and one would think that scientists and politicians would be better educated, but it seems that this not so, and they could remember 9th grade science class too.

This may just may be another smoke and mirrors propaganda campaign to cover our governments lies and con games. There are so many conspiracies running rampant it’s hard to tell which are real and which are just simple stupidity. The idea we can stop global warming IS stupidity at it’s highest form.

Most climactic specialists including those that believe in Global Warming believe it to be untrue. Al Gore himself said in an interview that it was Ok to exaggerate about Global Warming. Sad, that he's so desperate for fame that he hurts a worthy cause like the environment. Science should never be politicized. It creates a atmosphere where honest scientific debate cannot exist.

Much of it has been debunked here:

Yes, it is a true documentary!

Nobody has debunked the science in the film. In fact, Al Gore tried to debunk the science in his film. He had his staff pour through the peer-reviewed science journals to gauge how many scholarly articles supported the warming thesis and how many rejected the warming thesis. Of 600+ peer-reviewed scientific articles they surveyed, ZERO rejected the warming thesis!

He then had his staff review the media stories on global warming. 52% of media stories rejected the warming thesis!?

You'll have to see the movie to understand why the media is so disconnected from reality ( a hint is cigarettes).

Only people with their heads in the sand, or their heads in oil wells, think there is still debate on this issue! People who are telling you global warming doesn't exist have an agenda and are lying in the face of the scientific evidence to confuse citizens and prevent political movement on the issue.

...here, see the evidence for yourself:

Yes, it's true. Stop watching Fox News and go do some research of what actual scientists think.

What has happened in the past is true, it is the interpretation of why and the guess of what will happen in the future that is questionable.

It's true enough. People just don't want to believe it. The big power companies are pouring 100,000's of dollars into manufacturing research to make it look bogus.

Scientists who once debunked climate changes and greenhouse gasses are now changing their minds.
