I enjoy all normal activities(such as music and sports) but I also like to smell things. People tell me about it all the time. Why??

Well we all are weird in our own ways,Most people that call you weird have alot they hide and try to feel better about their own quirks by pointing out things that isn't typically done by the majority. But who in the hell are they to judge anything? The majority use to think the world was flat and the moon was made of cheese and I bet a lot still do.Be careful who you let influence your course in life.Take care.

As long as you're not sniffing underwear, and esp when the person is still wearing them, then you're probably OK. :-)
Perhaps you juse have a super acute sense of smell! Plus, your sense of smell has the most acute memory. Perhaps you're constantly seeking scents from the past, or making memories to refer to later. There's no shame in that. Sniff on, dude.

I don't think it's weird at all. I do it all the time. I can't eat anything without smelling it first...I smell sheets, towels, clean socks, freshly mowed lawns pretty much anything that I pick up. My nose is highly sensitive to scents, which i'm guessing yours is too.

My mom is the same way, she loves to smell new books, rocks, a freshly mowed lawn, I asked her one day why she did that and she said she likes the smell of things, she is exentric, and I wouldnot change her for anything!

not like that is a real hobby or anything, but why not? I don't see a problem with that, and if you try to smell things you like, then you are making yourself happy and are continuing to learn more about yourself through a different form of thought and sense,

Overdosed olfactory system. Study perfumes or cigars/tobacco. That nose of yours could make you a darn fortune.

You are missing an enzyme in your system and you try to compensate for it by smelling stuff.
