I would choose pharmacy just because peoples teeth kinda gross me out(but hey those are the people that will need you the most). You really don't have to make a decision immediatly. Take your required courses such as english, math, history, science, you'll probably need anatomy and physiology for both and kinda go from there. In all reality you probably have about 2 years to decide if you go to a university. Good luck in your decision, I'm sure whatever you do you'll be great.

both very lucrative, both very different.. i personally hate teeth. and the dentist. lol.....i hate the noise of the machines they use to clean.. bleargh. but w/ pharmacy, my friend is one. she doesn't really like it cuz it's boring, and customers are a pain, but it pays well. like $50 an hour..... i think it's still up to u, but which school is shorter? dentistry is lucrative, esp when u open ur own practice. i know someone who is just a dental hygenist in hollywood area and makes BANK. so if u don't mind teeth, learning and studying about teeth and how to take care of, clean, etc, dentistry is great field. if ur good at chemistry and science, then pharmacy is for u........ good luck!

If you pick Denistry then you can become a dental hyginist and still make money. You don't have to become a dentist if you don't want. If you pick pharmacy, there is no money unless you become a pharmacists. Assistants don't get paid well.

Always pick a job that you feel that you will love doing. Don't be another statistic of working at a job that you are totally miserable working at and years later down the line say I should of, could of, or be stressed and sick about. Do what your heart tells you to do. Money is not everything. A lot of people have lots of money and are miserable because they are working in a field that makes them unhappy. Stress takes away years on your life. What is the sense of making a lot of money and not well enough to enjoy it?

I'd go for the pharmacy. I worked in one and enjoyed the work. I don't think I'd enjoy working inside people's mouths.

It doesn't matter, because if you try one, and decide the other one is better, you can switch.
