Our purpose in life is to make it back to where we came from before we were born. To be the best human that we can be to accomplish our mission. The reason we exist is a kind of test on earth. We are all born with a spiritual need. Some people deny or ignore this need and live very sad and sometimes tragic lives.

To toil from sun up to sun down, make babies and die.

Anything else is just icing on the cake, but of course I love icing (unfortunately the cake is where all the money is, oh well), hence I followed my dreams and visions and got into print at age 16, got my first picture published at age 21, got regularly published by age 30, got stuff on TV and radio by age 40, got to hang around the likes of or work with Douglas Trumbull, Billy Bob Thornton, Kevin O'Neal, R.B. Greaves, Deniece Williams, etc. I so stuff only about a million other people in the world can do, but not on command. Never made it to that level. If I did I'd probably be rich! LIke I said, I'm into icing. I love a challenge and will spend many a year tackling one just to prove it can be done.

We cannot live without the sense of having a purpose. And searching to find our purpose often take many long years, it is the moment when we tell ourselves, "I was made for this." How? It is not an outward journey, it is a journey that starts within, and continues to spread to find beauty and meaning. When we really search for our purpose, we really are searching for ourselves. So the answer is in us. AS for you, I do not know, but I believe as for the humankind, it is to know themselves so that they may know their purpose. Moreover, the question of your existence depends on you, too. Cogito Ergo Sum, said Descartes.

No purpose. No one knows why we exist or how we came to be.

The purpose for a human being is one that he/she determines for themselves. We exist because we were born.

All the nations are in agreement that God alone is the One Who created this universe with its heavens and earth,as well as everything that lies between them and within them, such as angels, jinn and mankind.
He has entrusted every sane adult with worshipping Him and obeying His commands. And it is for this reason that He created them,as He states: "And I did not create mankind or jinn except to worship Me. I do not seek any provision from them nor do I ask that should feed Me.Verily,Alaah is the All-Provider,Owner of Power, the Most Strong."[Qur'an 51:56-58]
