Honey, I'm assuming you are a female. What pain...if any...is minimal. Assuming you are in to the guy and the moment, you will be too involved to notice. Even if if it turns out that you are not enjoying yourself, any discomfort is no worse than a brief ache. Don't obsess about it. But I do encourage you to...as much as possible...be sure this is a special moment. If you are having feelings of guilt or doubt, it won't be as special as it should be. Don't have sex just because the guy is pushing the issue. Make sure YOU want it too.

Worrying about the pain is what will make it worst. Relax about it. Let him get you really worked up (and, well, wet) before he penetrates you, then take it really slow. I was really small b4 my first time, but my then-boyfriend pleasured me orally first to an orgasm. THEN he used his fingers on and in me for another O. Then he went inside me. I was so into it I hardly felt anything more than a little cramp and then a "pop", then it was off to heaven...

Use a lubricant, such as KY jelly .......
Also, it only hurts for a minute or two, and the first time does not last long at all. Make sure to be in a comfortable position. Raising you legs helps the vagina muscles relax.

If your partner is gentle and considerate and prepares you adequately and if you really love him, pain should be minimal.Having sex just for the purpose of losing your virginity isn't a very grand idea!

There are lubricants available for sale in the market. Make it wide open as far as you can to accomodate his. Tell you partner to make it as gently as he can. Practice safe sex.
