I swore one time when I was at music school that as I listened to a soprano sing I could see waves of green silk spilling down the stairway. It was amazing! I cried.

I can only hope I never "see" the music because I so want to enjoy what I feel , I see so much every day. But music I feel deep down to my soul some songs you know? And theres nothing better than a song that can make so many people cry and embrace like Whiskey Lullabye, when me and my son heard it (we pictured his Father who commited suicide several years ago) and we first embraced then cried then danced and that is our "fave" song I so Thank the writers of that song for touching our hearts, his father's death was hard enough on him and he never cried till he heard that song.

You have either been doing alot of acid, or you need to start doing alot of acid. And before everyone freaks out about "advocating drugs" just remember that most if not all of the greatest music ever written was written by people who were high. And I'm including classical music, etc. They had drugs then too.

I think the great thing about music is that you can't see it. We rely on our eyes so much. We have to see eveything to believe it, we have to touch it, we have to taste it. Music, however, you can hear it and you can feel it, and that's what makes it so great. You can even close your eyes and be it, but you can never see it. Everything in this life that is real is intangible, and music is one of them.
"Real beauty cannot be seen, but is felt by the soul" (Kahil Gibran). So close your eyes and close your ears and feel music.

Now THAT'S an interesting question and I don't have an answer to it because I think you'd have to really think about it. Your answer has to be thought out, not just blurted out without thinking. I'll dwell on it though (not right now though). Good question.
