We backstabbed France for disagreeing with us. We do that to any country that has a different opinion than we do or does not take orders from us.
The French are brave and courageous. We could learn from them. They had the courage to stand up for what they believed in against us, the only superpower.
Your stupidity continues to amaze me everytime I see your questions.

The French word for victory is victoire. For the rest France did not backstab the USA, they just don't agree with them. For some reason the two countries have a history of not getting a long unless they need each other. Unfortunately they rarely need each other.

It's more of an issue of France wanting to keep it's economy going. If there's no Hezbollah, Iran no longer has an organization to aid in war. Who will France sell its bombs to then? =O They're traitors who would rather be bailed out all the time instead of fighting for themselves.
A little French joke on the side for you:
Q. How many gears are on a French tank?
A. One, reverse.
Have a nice day! =D

wow, so every single one of you bought into the 'blame the french' talking point? what's funny is that, based on your question, you don't really want an answer. rhetoric is fun, especially when the ones who use it aren't even well read. how is advocating an israeli pull-out backstabbing the u.s.? as far as i know, the u.s. isn't even involved in the israel/hezbollah conflict -- although, EVERY nation, including france, has a financial interest in it. but, as usual, blaming the french is the best thing to do when the u.s. government wants to distract the unthinking members of the population. this administration knows it can count on the 'liberal' media like fox news channel, the post and others to rally the public into scapegoating some outside source for this country's government's mistakes. how truly sad it is that it's questions like this one and comments like the many above that prove we've got a long way to go. and this is coming from a republican (who still thinks for herself). and it's 'victoire,' by the way.

Gee. Now that the US is in up to their necks in an insurgent catastrophe they can't figure out what to do with and are losing Amerikan lives left and right, maybe, just maybe the Frogs had something right.
I wish ALL we had to worry about was what the French are thinking.
Our brothers and our sisters, husbands and wives are dying over there and all you got is a beef with the French.
Better take a look within!

I dont see why u guys should be so prejudice against a strong economical ally of the US. Economic cooperation is always first and a heck lot more important that some silly millitary/war disagreement. The french have made important contributes to the US for decades now.
Please grow up and learn something for once.

They're French. They think they won WW 1 and WW 2 single-handedly.

cowardice and jealousy - France used to be one of the mightiest powers in the world, and now, our infant nation dominates the world, in a way that they never could. They see in us, what they never could be: powerful enough to be kind and merciful to those who malign us.
