Here's my big realization about revenge. I was mad at this guy. A real loser. Planned 47 ways to get him back. Then I realized this... I don't need to do anything to this loser, because he is going to be stuck being a loser for the rest of his life. I realized I'd already beaten the guy... I laugh every time I see him now!

No. The emotional stress eats you up, even after you plan the revenge.

As a teen, my father, in a drunken state, slapped me, and tried to put me through a large plate glass window. It was only by a miracle I balanced on a chair, and kept from falling back into the window.

He died in the early 70s, before I could exact my revenge, or work up enough nerve to confront him. Now in my 50s, I've finally learned to let it go. I can only be responsible for my own actions, not his. He had his own baggage to deal with, but never did, and it cost him his marriage, and family.

Revenge, in any form, for any reason, is no good. I've learned the hard way over the years.

It depens on what some one did to you. If they play a mean prank then revenge would be worth it. But most of the time its not. To me it is just plane silly why people do that.

Revenge does not pay and when you do it the fallback is ten times worse. Never fall to revenge as it turns you into a spiteful person and doesnt allow you to mature. A person may do a bad thing to you but you must not allow yourself to drop to their level. Just rise above and forgive them but never forget.

Sometimes....not always. It depends on what the situation is and what you do in revenge. Revenge sets you even with your enemy, but forgiving them sets you above them!

no because eventually you will feel bad. Trust me, I got revenge on this ex best friend and whenever I think back on the things I did to her, I feel so awful.

Never , because you are turning over power to the other person when you use your good energy for bad . Forget about it ( or them ) and move on , happily ."Don't cut off your nose to spite your face ".

NO__ because when you do something bad to get back @ what they did to you-- its really putting you on the same level as them! I never liked to go that route-- its easier to wait it out & let time take care of it;;
