I sure hope that it is unless its a REALLY sensless question...I personally do my best to give a genuine answer. It would make me feel good lol. The thought that someone actually took the thought and time to give a thorough response to my seemingly sensless question makes me think...hey someone actually did think about it, may not have been exactly what I was looking for but hey they gave it their all and their opinions or experiences and now I may have a new perspective on something.

All goes to show you that some people really do sit and reflect and care about the answers they give...makes you feel like (and this is just me) that your question to that person who ever it may be was nice enough to take the time (or maybe they even take pride in giving those honest insightful responses) to feild your question with that sort of attention. Its just nice to see someone give a logical response to something that could very well be considered a 'stupid' question.

So no, its not just you...I haven't yet asked a question that someone would have been able to give that sort of a response to but I know I have done it myself.
Just me.

Not really. Some answers are very insightful. Answering questions, whether randomly or intentionally is just a means of communicating our own opinions and trying to impart some things we have know or have come to understand. Enlightenment seems to come from our own personal journey, from things we have learned through trial and error.

That only happens in the movies, dude!

heh.

Seriously, though. Naw, it's not enlightenment because enlightenment deals with finding the answers to questions on one's own terms. Reading a good answer just makes us feel good because it's a good answer!

That is a very good question. Thank you so much!
I hope I can come across something this good more often.

In here the situation is usually the other way around, though.

I think so, it's great to find someone who takes ANY answer seriously. Thanks for the awesome question, and no, it's not just you.
