small white starlike flower. grows on rocky areas, mostly near mountains. one flower grows on a long stem. the bulbs are closed during the day but come evening they open up and smell really sweet. include links to pics is possible

I am wondering if it could be a moonflower, or the night blooming jasmine, they are very fragrant and are shaped like stars, I wish I had more info.

Really not enough info. # petals, describe leaves, height, stem thickness and so forth. Get a field guide from the library. Not sure, but maybe a narcissus? Maybe false garlic or crow poison? Try those in google images.
