Are field hockey shin guards the same as the ones you wear for soccer?

My daughter needs shin guards to play high school field hockey. Are they the same ones used for soccer? Or are they more specific to field hockey?

There are one specifically for field hockey but the hard soccer ones will do just fine.

the link shows you what field hockey shin guards look like..i own these and i think they are great because they offer more protection then the other ones and there is a differene from soccer and field hockey shin guards..you can even tell from them. hope this helped. :]
