He was a very young man when he assumed the throne, probably his mid teens, and legend says that he slept with his sisten. Morgan Le Fay, the night before he found out who he really was (and that she was his sister). His son, Mordred, was born of that, and Mordred was a grown man when he and Arthur died, so Arthur would have had to be at least middle aged, for the time.

King Arthur is a legendary character. There is no proof that a real King Arthur ever existed. There has never been a king in British history actually named Arthur. The character may be based on a real person, may be based on more than one person, or may be completely fictional; no one knows for sure.

Unfortunately the actual date of his death isn't known for sure. The book about him and his knights wasn't actually written until the industrial revolution and wasn't totally based on historical facts. For instance the Catholic Church in an attempt to increase it's influence during the middle ages erected a monument claiming to have the tombs of Arthur and Guinivere by some abbey. Unfortunately this led to the book about King Arthur being based in the middle ages when he would have actually lived in what is known as the dark ages. I would suggest looking on the history channel's website as I think they would have more info.

he didn't die, he fell into an ice cave, where he was bit by a zombie, and then he killed the zombie, but then he turned into a zombie himself, but luckily he froze before he could bite other people, but if he is ever found and thawed out he will unleash a horrible plague of undeath upon the world.

at least, that's how it happened in my story
