Whatever YOU prefer. (That's why I have 7 Fenders and 8 Gibson's in the house !! ) I personally am a Gibson man.

Gibsons are better, but they're too expensive. Fender has a bigger bang for the buck.

fender stratocast is the best l've ever played. Gibson is also good but it all depends on the sound you are looking for.

they both make great guitars and they both make some not so great guitars. I think the best guitars are made by Paul Reed Smith.

I think Gibson has put out a quality guitar longer.

It depends on you. Do you like the sound quality better for which one, what your financial situation is, and so on.
