Because eventually it will happen. It is "part of the deal". I lost my grandfather last year and it was awful. He was more of a Dad than mine had ever been. I get weird obsessions like that some times. Best advice. If you are feeling like that. Call the ones close to you and tell them you love them. I (un)fortunately have some strange sixth sense about stuff like that in my life, and have learned pick up the phone to say, how's the weather, just wanted you to know I was thinking about you and LOVE you. Do it you cannot stop what is meant to be, only make yourself crazy with worry. Sleep well.

32 years old and never lost anyone close to you???!!!...by the time i was 33, i had lost both my parents and all grandparents and my younger brother.....thank the lucky stars that you have been so fortunate to have them all around and feel blessed to still have them in your life!!!.....it is terrible to loose the people you love and takes a long time to recover, but try not to waste this time worrying about that and ENJOY every moment you have.with them...you can't control life and when it ends, but you can help everyone live a healthy life style and see the doctor when something is wrong......
if it is consuming you...try to talk to them(your family) and maybe they can help you deal with your fears... if that doesn't ease your worries, maybe you can talk to a professional......it's OK to worry a little about the future, but so much more, enjoy the moments...they are precious!!!! good luck to you and be happy

Perhaps you fear death because you've never experienced the loss of someone close to you. Do you also worry excessively about lots of other things too? Worry will not make one bit of difference in what happens or to whom or when. If you need help, please talk to a doctor or a counselor. There's help for you!

I had this irrational concern at the same time as i became youthful that each and every time my mom and father went out they could very likely die in a vehicle crash. quickly i began depending a lot less on my mom and father and made contingency plans for the worst that ought to happen. the phobia has stopped considering the fact that 2 years back.

Once it happens you'll deal with it, then get over it. It will pass.
