A little over 2 years ago I was all set to get on a plane to meet a man I'd met online. First, when I tried to buy my airline ticket, my credit card wasn't accepted. Finally it went through, then one of my family became ill, and I had to postpone the visit. One roadblock after another kept appearing - work troubles, friend troubles, bank troubles... I'd get one thing sorted out, and another would appear. Then one morning I got a phonecall from the hospital where I was on a waiting list for surgery. Instead of waiting til the fall, they had a spot for me - surgery booked for 2 days before I was to leave.
That's when I gave myself a mighty big shake, and finally listened to the message the universe was trying to tell me... DON'T GO!
I called the man and told him I had changed my mind about meeting him. Since then, I have become engaged to the most amazing and loving man any woman could ask for - a man who lives a little closer than a plane ride away! My family adores him, he's the best thing to ever happen to me. I'm happier than I've ever been in my life.
If I'd gone on that plane... well who knows what may have happened, and I don't even wonder anymore - all I know is-
NOT going (and finally listening to my instincts!) was the smartest thing I've ever done.

The smartest thing I've ever done and continue to do is never let anyone rob me of my peace. I learned early on to never surround myself with earth disturbers and to never contend with fools. Peace

I got divorced, just in the nick of time too. Much longer and I would have ended up in prison.
