Something very horrifying happened to me. I am still in shock as I type this. Last night, I was awoken abruptly at exactly 3:00 am. I gazed blankly at the digital clock; its red, glowing teeth stared right back at me. I couldn't fall back to sleep. I decided to use the bathroom. It was connected to my room so I did not bother to close the door; I hadn't even turned on the bathroom lights. My room was dimly lit with a bedside lamp and its ambience reached faintly into the bathroom. As I was doing my business in the bathroom, I felt... watched. My senses became heightened. I felt ice cold. My arms felt as if cold, dead breath was being blown against it. I deeply regretted not turning on the lights. The bathroom seemed darker than before. How I wished I had turned on the lights! I could only see the whites of my eyes staring back at me in the mirror. I hastily flushed the toilet in an attempt to shorten the time I had to endure being in the dark...

... The sound of the water spraying and hissing underneath me was maddening. It hurt my ears. It sounded alive... choking, spewing, gargling. I was beyond scared at this point. All I wanted was to be back in my safe, warm bed. The feeling of being stalked and watched by some unknown being became stronger. I was a few steps away from the toilet when I noticed "it". I was struck with dread as I saw a tall, cloaked figure standing away from me inside the shower. This demonic figure was hidden partly by my shower curtain. I was frozen with fear. My legs could not move. I tried to scream, but I had forgot to inhale. All that came out was a desperate yelp...

... The figure began to move. It slowly began turning around. Its hooded head was masked by darkness. It approached me with clumsy, unsteady steps... like a corpse making its first steps as the living dead. As it closed in on me, the light from my bedside lamp illuminated his face. It was Hayden Christensen... as Darth Vader. He lunged at me and pushed me through the doorway into my bedroom. We landed on my bed. I struggled to get away, but I was pinned down. His face was at nose distance from mine. He began to speak: "Buy Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith on D...V...D..., loads of special features and deleted scenes..." As quickly as that happened, he disappeared. I laid in bed, paralyzed, knowing my innocence was gone.

It's a ghost. All of the signs are there. Beging watched, and feeling cold are the biggest signs. If you want to get rid of the ghost, hang crosses around the place, and next time you see it (this may be hard, but it will work) say to it 'go to heaven, where you belong. You are dead.' You see, ghosts are wondering soals, they don't know they are dead. The ghost must had died in that room, since it is haunting it right now. Are you sure that last part about the Darth Vader thing is real? Ghosts can't attack you, but they can tutch you, like a hand on your shoulder.

nice story! So I think some one needs to be a Star Wars fan. Funny thing, I use the bathroom without the lights on in the night too!

If this hadn't ended with the DVD, it woudl be a good short story.
;)
I bet in the end you were rescued by Yoda, right?

You may need to work on your writing skills, many movies have used a similar scenario.

Remember in The Evil Dead, the girl was raped by a tree, Rosemary had sex with the devil while sleeping, and i believe the mother in poltergeist was dry humped against the bed, the wall and ceiling.

you either have a mental illness, you are a unimaginative writer, or you are taking to much acid. How are the leprechauns and trolls?

Just cut the booze and weed off approximately three hours before bedtime and this won't happen again unless your imagination is persistently heightened by your life.

My whole being collapsed after reading your story!! The horrors of cold, cruel, capitalism coming barging into your private domain ... is there anything more demonic???!!! I'm shivering and crying right now -- I can only hope that you are spared the catatonia-inducing, worst-of-all-fates: the Mitsubishi's "Galant-a-thon" commercial! I know ... I'm sorry I even said it!!!!

The film was such a disappointment they had to think of some pretty innovative marketing techniques to step up DVD sales.

You're just trying to see if people will compliment your writing. Take some college writing courses to improve.
