They audtion for their spot, and they get paid for doing much harder work than most people give them credit for. ( lots of travel, and practice)

Yes, however it's very little money. Maybe $50 per game, depending on the team.

I don't know about all teams, but the Redskinettes I believe get $50 a game

They do get paid...a little per game...most have other careers that they do during the week. Many are in college still.
