Another way to think of this is how many times did you have to wake up before you were really awake?

I have only gone two levels on that one, dreaming that I was dreaming. But I am becoming expert in lucid dreaming, taking control of what happens in my dreams. It's really good and can be very cathartic.

Many Many times.
Sort of , looking at your self in a mirror, looking at yourself in a mirror, looking at yourself in a mirror etc.....
I dream that I am sleeping and need to wake up, I wake up and go about daily life (with my eyes closed) only to realize that I am still sleeping and the whole process starts over. Scary!

Those are kind of opposites. Dreaming a dream in a dream and knowing it is after that fact of it happening....Ya. I dreamt I got up and went to the toilet to urinate, I did and woke up dry, astonishingly. So, I got up again and went to the toilet, I woke up again, so I got up etc. etc. I don't know what number of false wakings I experienced. Apparently my urine retention or urine sphincter knew better than me.
