go back to basics, you have to have Fuel, Air and ignition in the right time and order.
Do you have ignition (the spark plugs spark?)
Do you have fuel reaching the injectors/carburetor?
Usually air is a given.
IF you have iginition spray a little starting fluid in the air intake
and try starting it. if it starts and runs for a little bit and then turns off you have a fuel problem.
Get the car where it's quiet and get in and just turn the ket to ON.
in most cars you'll hear a humming/buzzing sound that means the fuel pump is working. If you don't hear that and the starting fluid DID work your fuel pump may not be working. could be bad. could be a blown fuse or disconnected wire.
CHECK ALL THE FUSES. since the car has been wreck a lot of
crap could have went wrong at the moment of impact....

Most late model cars have what is called an inertia switch. This switch is designed to open in a collision, thus cutting power to the fuel pump. If this is what has happened, you can usually reset the switch. Sometimes it may need to be replaced. This could possibly be your problem.

Well, guess you've got your work cut out for you!
BTW, a "running wreck" doesn't mean that it will necessarily start, only that it can be driven more or less safely if it does start.
