go here for a good list. http://www.tamora-pierce.com/books.htm Also, I think you should give her older books a shot. Alanna is great and so are the Kel books. All the tortall series is a must read.

i have only read the song of the lioness series and i loved it...it's a lil hard to get her books where i am!! she's good though!!
