my husband and I are looking at buying a bor hog from a neighbor, the hog weighs between 150-200 pounds, what is the current price either by pound or by hundred weight for a bor hog that is that weight and one year old.

I think right now the going price is $45 live weight per hundred pounds. Maybe you can do a search for hog market report, or swine market report...that should give you a better idea.
200-240 pounds is a good market weight on a hog...unless you are just getting the hog for a pig roast, then I guess it doesnt matter too much.

The average cost for a live pig is around 50 cents/pound. But that is after the farmer has paid for the cost of shipping the pig to market. Offer them thirty bucks and make them drag it over.

sorry, i know this doesn't help but...it made me think of food, and in my head i said, "Uh, mebbe 5 dollars tops for a cheap one!" i know that probably hurts your feelings, and i love little animals too.i really hope you get it and care for it!...unless your raising it to eat it....ah whtvr.
