Well, I don't like any of the previous answers. Here's mine?
If you were my wife, I would treat you as an equal. Marriage is a partnership. You would be my partner and me yours.
I would keep in mind that I cannot just go off and do anything I want to do. My life will never be like it was. My life is not my own anymore. My life is in partnership with yours.
I would always remember the vows we both took at the wedding. I would do my best to honor you, cherish you, respect you, be there for you in sickness and in health....and so on.
I would share the housework with you, as my father did with my mother and my 2 brothers and I pitched in to help my mom.
I would always remember marriage is not about sex. Sex is an important part of a marriage, but it is not the foundation of it.
If sex WAS the foundation of a marriage, the marriage will eventually fail miserably.
I would also keep in mind that our wedding was a wedding made in Heaven and we would be married for an eternity even after death.
I would do my best to care for your every need and insure that if something awful were to happen to me (like if I was to be shanghaied by some impertinent pirates) you would be taken care of financially.
There is a lot more, but i think this is enuf to show you how a husband SHOULD think about his wife and marriage.
Oh, and where would we be? Someplace that we both would agree upon and that someplace would make us both happy.

well if you were my girl friend i would bath you right know and cook dinner for you right know and give you a full body massage
right know and lay you on the couch and let you relax after all of that and i would treat you like a husband is suppose to treat his wife with respect and honor and trust and the deepest love we would be in alaska

I'd be nice to you of course. You'd have to clean my house but as long as you get that done I'll be nice.
I don't know what you'd be doing right now but I'm drinking a beer and watching tv and answering your quesiton.
If we were married I'm sure I'd be worst off than I am now.
