I like my Mets. I think that I am a true fan, because I stuck with the Mets when they were the laughingstock of the NL, and now look at them. They are the 2nd best team in the Majors (behind the Tigers) Most Yankees fans only like the Yankees because they dominated in the 90's, but are struggling now. I think that the Mets are a great team now, and after inking long term extensions with David Wright and Jose Reyes, they will continue to dominate the NL, and possibly the MLB.

i hate the yankees so mets by default.
the yankees are a bunch of sell out bastards. and i believe that the mets have a much better team

I like the Yankees best. My husband likes the Mets. Three of four kids like the Mets. BUT, we all like both, except during interleague or Subway Series.

However, I thought the Mets' fans were super-classy when they gave Piazza a standing ovation today at Shea. That was awesome!
