How do you define beauty?

...to save time and space, lets leave out the eye of the beholder stuff. Also, as an added extra, who is the most beautiful person you know and why?

i would define beauty as what is on the inside that shows outwards to people, a kind person, humbleness, and i would say my grandmother because she is caring, understanding and would help anyperson in need if they needed food she would give it to them, if they needed clothes she would give it as well, i have seen her help total strangers and not think twice about it.

One of my friends. She is the nicest person on earth, thoughtful, helpful, always there when she is needed. She is physically attractive, always neat and nice with her apperarance.She is a beautiful person.
Beauty is as beauty does, the most physically beautiful person can spoil that beauty by being mean and spiteful.
So beauty is both outward, and inward.
And yes, I know one of the other kind, she is gorgeous, wears expensive, well put together outfits. She won't come to her class reunion, because she doesn't want to see anyone but her own crowd, and let that be known publicly. She is not a beautiful person.

Beauty has many guises, and what may be perfect for one, may be a turn off for another.

Personally speaking, yes, I like an physically attractive woman. Ideally slightly curvey (not as curvey as the M25 though!) However, this can all be ruined by ignorance. For me beauty is as much about the personality and intelligence as it is the looks, maybe more so.

As for the most beautiful person i know? Well, apart from the questioner ,sorry, but it's allowed, and she does show intelligence (sometimes) I'm not sure. I know plenty of nice people to look at, and plenty of nice people to talk to, but not many that tick all the boxes. Closest i can think of is a housemate of mine, who's a nice girl, intelligent, cultured, and good looking.

Maybe i'm just too choosey!

To me, beauty is what exudes from a person by their actions toward another person. To be able to lend a hand to someone in need, make a difference in a child's life, take an extra moment for an elderly person. I can't name a most beautiful person, 'cause I know several.

Beauty is something you never missed but after having seen it and its gone, makes the world barren.

The most beautiful person I know is a Danish girl called Maria. I knew her many years ago but let her go and I will always regret it. She is the most beautiful to me because I cannot think of her as it upsets me too much and I cannot NOT think of her because it upsets me too much.

beauty is purely physical. the flowing visuals that delight you. there are also certain mathmatical formulas for facial proportions and beauty. beauty is simply how something looks, its lighing , texture, reflection, shadow etc. i dont' give a toss if someone is evil or whatever, if they look good on the outside, they're beautiful.

Defining beauty, hmmm, people see beauty in many differant ways, and in many differant things. to me beauty comes from the heart, as i see it in nearly everything, if you hav a good feeling about something, you will see its beauty.. even if its ugly.
