when i instant message it is telling my real first and last name,.since i downloaded 8 messenger .HOw do i get it to say josephine floral like before.everyone know s my real name!!!

Click MyProfiles from the dropdown menu
On the next page displayed Click Your_Profile_Name
Click Edit for the profile name you wish to edit
Click Settings on the top right side of this page
On the right side of this page find the box "Can Be Seen By:" and change this from Public to Just Me (Private)
Review the entire page changing anything you want to keep Private to Just Me (Private)
This should solve your problem
AT&T Yahoo IM menu- Click Messenger Option

In Messenger go to My Contact Details and put the name you want to appear in the Nickname slot and erase your name which will apear in the First Name, Last Name slot.

I don't know either. I have tried both of he ways suggested as your answers and they don't work.
