Because, animals got the nice soft fur. And well... I don't know, they're just so cute and soft, and cuddly! I love animals no matter how they come!

Haha, newborn mice aren't that cute. But they do get quite cute after about 6-7 days when they get their fur. They look like little blobs with toes :D
There are plenty ugly animal babies out there too, but I do agree that a lot of animal babies are cuter than human babies. I think it's more personal opinion though, lol.

oh come on now, human babies are cute too, plus magnificent since you can watch them learn and grow, animals babies might learn and grow too, but not like a human does.

Depending on the animal, They aren't as noisy, needy (as long as the mom is there), messy, they don't make your wife's breasts food factories, and they're fuzzy.
