i know there is a trick about when they look at their left or right side...i dont know, which one, it means they are lieing. if they are looking at the other side (either left or right) it means they are thinking instead...how does it go?

or else what other ways can you tell when a person is lieing to you?

Supposedly, your pupils contract when you lie. Try watching his eyes.

Technically, the right side of your brain is your creative side. So if you look right, you are creating (lying) an answer. If you look to the upper left (memories are stored there) you are trying to find an answer that you know.

This is not 100% accurate as excellent liars have lies memorized so they will look like they are telling the truth from memory when in reality the memory is a lie.

We inherently know this, that is why you say some people are terrible liars and others are good at lying. Studies have shown that the major physical appearance difference is where you look. Humans subconsciously "judge" or "sense" whether someone is lying by their eyes. It is harder to sense someone that has lies memorized.

PS. Everyone has it backwards in here. The right is creativity, left is logic. Check out my source:

The yes/no lie. The lie is either a yes answer or a no answer, so not much imgination needed for that. If it is not yes or no, then it is 'I don't know'. If he's insane he may answer yes if he confuses fanatasy for reality, and no if his understanding for what you are saying is from his decoder book, in other words he defines social interactions differently than you. If that's true, you do not know him well enough and are incompatable. If he's a psycho, there won't be any symptom of deception because he has no love or conscience. If he does, then why would you expect deception.

Actually, it's all in the eyes; if he answers you a question and looks left, he's lieing (left side of brain is imagination) if he anwers you and looks right, then he's actually recalling something on truth (the right side of the brain deals in facts)
Good look...I mean good luck.

They have trouble making eye contact with you.
Another good way to tell is if you know the person and the speech mannerisms change. ie, uses hands a lot and suddenly doesn't, says umm throughout his talking when that is not usual for them.
Everyone is different.
I can tell if my kids are lieing, they won't look at me and one always grins when he is telling a lie.
My co-workers start fidgeting.
So everyone is different.

Good luck.

you are kind of on base about which way they are looking, but still wrong. if a person looks to the right, they are accessing the memory sections of the brain, trying to remember in other words. if they look to the left, they are accessing the creative side of the brain, or trying to make something up

it really depends on the person that you are dealing with . but if they fail to look you in the eyes , then more then likely a lie is being told. The eyes are the key .....

Sorry, there is no trick to it. If you don't trust him, f*ck'im and fling'im. Usually anything with a penis can look you straight in the eyes and tell you whatever it is you want to hear.

actually, i've heard that if a man is Thinking, his face turns orange, and green stripes form on his ears, and his eyes close halfway.... if he's LYING, he looks perfectly normal, and his eyes just kinda "not" look at YOU.... (doesn't matter which WAY they turn, just that they are NOT aimed at you)

aaahhh there are so many ways to tell if someone is lieing to you...... they will look LEFT and down.
the lips will twitch or they will lick them alot.
the face goes red.
hands will move constantly.( rubbing face/head)
they will start a arguement with you.

hope this helps & i hope he's not lieing to you :)
