Polar bears kill walrus and some small whales - they are incredibly strong - so I would give them some chance against an elephant. Sometimes even lions can kill small elephants and they aren't nearly as strong as polar bears.

The polar bear. They are immensely strong, capable of pulling a grown man through a 6-inch opening. Sure, elephants have knocked over vehicles, but a car doesn't fight back. Even humans have survived slams from an elephant trunk; the bear should be considerably more durable. An elephant is too clumsy to use its most devastating attack - trampling - against a bear. All the bear would have to do is rip open the elephant's gut and wait a while.

Lions RARELY kill small elephants they're to lazy to spend a lnog time chewing through there hide and the guy who said that all the bear had to do was slit the gut and wait your and idiot and elephants have killed people. Theres no way a polar bears claws could even penetrate an elephants skin so hands down it has to be the elephants and all you people who dissagree just stfu

The elephant would win because it is way bigger, heavier, and more tempermental. They also have very long and sharp tusks. The polar bear has claws and teeth, but the elephant would stab that thang before it could do damage. The elephant charges really fast at short distances, so that would hurt. The pb would have no chance.

in the polar Bear's natural habitat the bear has a good chance. in the elephants natural habitat the elephant has a good chance.
in the past a full grown woolly mammoth verse a polar bear (or its predecessor) I give the nod to the mammoth assuming both are healthy. There are random chance occurrences to consider. The bear is a great predator, but the elephant is a mighty beast and healthy ones are not prey to anything but man

That depends, on what type of fight wew are talking about. A toe to toe fight my money would be on the bear. However if it was a charging at each other from a short distance I would say the elephant has the advantage. But the thing about a fight is, anybody can beat anyone at anytime!

No one among them. Because the polar bear is either in the north or south pole (Icy region) while the elephant are located in tropical region (hot/dry/forested areas). Both cannot survive in different climate.

A polar bear wouldn't have a chance.

An elephant is just too big.

The bear would be scared of something bigger than him.
