Ok, I need to get rid of starting pitchers because I'm way over my innings allowed per season. I'm thinking if I get rid of ZITO and WILLIS for Verlander, it's like trading what two guys can do for one guy who can do both and maybe even more. I got the proposal already. What do you guys think?

I think it's a no-brainer. If you're over your innings, you're getting a guy who can give you everything you need. The only thing you really need to consider is that Verlander is suffering from a "tired arm" and he missed his last start. It shouldn't be a big deal, and I don't expect his production to decline much, but it's something to keep in mind.

That's a nice offer you have right now, but I wouldn't trade for Justin Verlander just yet. He's a young pitcher who has the stuff right now but eventually, he's going to break down during the stretch (see Liriano today). He's keepers material for sure, but I wouldn't bet on him to keep posting his good stats since this is his rookie year. Maybe, trade for some offense if your over your inning (find a taker cause you have two good pitchers in hand and you need to have some benefit, too).

it makes sense to move a 2 for 1 - but moreso if it's a keeper league.. you better watch verlander this week before you offer; he is listed as 'probable' this week v chi

If you're over your innings, why not trade just one of them for a bat?
