It is based on pain. in most cases you have to go through pain to die. nobody likes pain, well except for a certain kind of physio people.
Then there is the block of I have so much to do and see. No body wants to leave when they are having a good time.
All the experience and effort put into life, suddenly all for nothing, denada, gone... that is some scary stuff!

I knew 3 people that were absolutely petrified , to face death. Each one has passed away, and I believe that they did not suffer. 2 died peacefully in their sleep , and fast! The third died of a massive heat attack and fell on the floor, He was dead before he hit the floor. They all lived rich and full lives , till the moment of their deaths.
I think they were taken quickly, because they lived very spiritual lives.

They are afraid of the unknown, not death.

I don't know, but if animals (being alot more instinctive then people)would rather kill or go on, in an injured agony, Then death probably isn't a good experience.

Not knowing what's going to be next. The thought of having that long sleep and never waking up. Never being able to be with the ones you love ever again. Like when you were never born; no thoughts, no feelings, no emotions. Lifelessness.

Its where we are afraid of leaving the friends, loves ones behide but we have sacrific our self for god meaning if we dont give up everything we have or every relationship we have for him he will send us to hell

uhh isnt it obvious dat evryone doesn't like dying because
a)they dont kno wats gonna happen
b)they're afraid of missing out on things
c)HELLO! They miss they're friends and family
