Land Rover Best , Most Supple 4 Wheel Drive in the World, and Ford Motor Company Owns Them, but they were that way before that, hands down the Rover, but a bit pricey, the other one will get where you want to go tho.

Sorry to break it to you but a stock jeep is not a good off roader. Land Rover defenders are driven the world over. Just watch the discovery channel and see what they use on those african safaris.

The Defender is probably better than the Wrangler off-road. Neither is much for overall reliability or highway use, though.
