All I've ever had before are cats. I'm wondering if Advantaging my newborn against fleas is anything like Advantaging my newborn.

Ummm, are you suggesting applying Advantage to your newborn baby to protect him/her against fleas? I hope not...

If you have a flea problem you should treat the cats with the advantage, not your baby! Not only could this be FATAL for your child, it is unfair to leave your cat/s with an untreated flea problem: it could lead to much worse situations for your cat/s.

If you are still curious about which products are safe to use in a house with children present, talk to your local vet. They should be able to give you the best advice, and might even be able to offer some superior treatments that aren't available at your local supermarket or pet store.

You have to wait until the baby's umbilical cord falls off before you can start using flea products on them. lol

OOPS?? You never make mistakes!! What is up with that?
