You are raped at any age if there was unwanted penetration (intercourse of one kind or another). If there is other unwanted sexual contact and there is no penetration, you are molested. Additionally people who are out of it or are children do not have the legal ability to consent to sex. Therefore even if they express an interest or do not protest, it is still rape.

they are kind of different. usually when someone says molested it is referring to a minor like a child. Raped is someone forcing another to have sex without giving consent from the victim.

From what i have read,
rape usually refers to forced vaginal or anal penetration with a penis or object.
molestation usually refers to penetrating with fingers, or other harmful touching, or forced oral sex.
Both are deplorable and the perpetrators of such crimes should be lobotomized.
