Why have you waited so long - is it religious beliefs? If so, do not compromise what you have maintained for so long. I was a virgin when I got married and I was 25 and never will regret giving such a wonderful gift to my husband. It's rare, and almost rediculous to people in this morally challenged society, but be true to yourself and your beliefs. If he is so awesome he will make you his wife and not pressure you for sex.

Yes!!!! In my opinion, you should go for it! I think women should explore their sexuality before the alter. You should examine your value system, of course, because each ind. is different but I would say do it. Sex is an important and natural part of a relationship.

However, I think I'm going against the grain here, but whatever your reason was for "saving yourself" for 26 years will go down the drain in one night. Tell "awesome" to live up to the title you gave him and wait it out. Tell him that you waited this long for him.

You should wait. Don't listen to those that are urging you to do so because you are sooo not sleeping with them. Sex ain't going nowhere and if your boyfriend appreciates you he isn't going anywhere either.

yes, you should. what if you get married to him and on the first night ya'll finally have sex, its not good at all. you need to make sure he has it there first or you may end up marrying him and the sex not be good at all.
