The most inexpensive and most BANG for the buck is a Hypertech or Superchips tuner. Available from the web at many sites for about $400.00. You can set shift points, calibrate for different tire sizes, re-calibrate engine management, disable REV and speed limiters and it is ALL Emissions legal in all 50 states.

350 is a lil block to begin with so -right out of the box -carb cam header set up ---want it to be a street car with gas milage etc alot goes into building and improving performance

EZ, cheap gains are : 1). install K&N air sys. 2). Install true dual exhausts 3). try to get hyper chip installed. This should get you started.

start with a better exhaust, intake manifold, cold air intake, etc etc etc

big block not enough power? add a turbo to it.
