I have a ton of tamiya model kits that I purchased on line, I have trouble with the decals and spraying on the finish. please help. This is the only hooby I have aside from smoking!

The way I do it is with a cup of water, a paintbrush, and some tweezers. Soak the decals, hold the blue (usually blue) background paper, and use a dry paintbrush to slide the decal. Wet the brush to get out the air bubbles. Also, putting water on the model helps when you try to move a decal.

Pour lukewarm water in a very small bowl, then place the decal in the water for a few seconds, next take the decal and carefully slide it in place. Then using a paper towel... dab the decal lightly to remove any air bubbles. Last but not least... when all the decals have been placed on your model let them set overnight before attempting to spray your model with a clear finish.
