HO HO HO....I had to slap around some incompetent toy makers today....HO HO HO

I don't know...I'm in the tax business so I deal with a lot of people, some "incompetent" and some who are not...just part of life but, I do know, that there are very few jobs out there where you can get by without having to interact with people. In fact, having to be a "people" person is more critical to my than it is to have an answer for every question that a client has. Be polite and I often find that people are okay with me having to call someone or find an answer for them. But, if i were ever rude, I would hope that and assume people would be less willing to tolerate me not having an answer right off the top of my head.
Furthermore...something to think about: you might encounter an incompetent person but, how many people interact with you and think you are the incompetent one?

1. The elderly man in front of me this morning was incompetent at driving.
2. The person tailgating me on 95 was incompetent at driving
3. The IT person at work blocked my access to Netflix, therefore is incompetent at understanding my need to add movies to my queue before I forget them.
4. I turned down an offer to go to the beach after work, thereby I am incompetent in maintaining my social life.

The problem is not incompetence, it's non communication. Most everybody doing the behind the counters jobs, can't speak English.
